The Playhouse Nursery School is a home-based preschool program in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania serving families with children ages 24 months to 5 years.

The Playhouse is an environment for the youngest learners that is familial, nurturing, and respectful. Young children have the greatest capacity to learn when they are met at their own unique developmental pace.

The program operates year round, with the exception of a winter, spring, and and summer break (all one week) The Playhouse is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am – 5:30pm.

The group is limited to five children in attendance per day. We can accommodate part time and full time enrollment.

We use an app called Tadpoles to send private notes about your child’s day as well as photos of them at play! www.tadpoles.com

We have a ground floor playroom that is our indoor classroom. We also have a big back yard with ample play space and a garden where we grow veggies flowers and herbs. We take walks on the Cobbs Creek hiking trail, learning about nature and the seasons, and often playing at two nearby playgrounds.
